Borjomi workers have blocked access to two plants, which produced the bottles of mineral water.
According to the SIA, the main demand of the protesters is the payment of two months' salary to about 50 laid-off employees and their reinstatement.
Protesters are also demanding new employment contracts.
Police officers were involved in the area. Despite the demands of the police to stop blocking the entrances, the employees continue to protest.
Borjomi employees have been on strike since May 31. Production at two IDS Borjomi packaging plants has been suspended since April 30 due to financial difficulties. The company offered part of its shares to the Georgian government free of charge. Negotiations are currently underway.
