Russian and Turkish FMs to mull Karabakh

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a visit to Ankara on June 8, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a briefing today, SİA reports.

According to her, Lavrov will meet with his Turkish counterpart to discuss bilateral relations and economic cooperation in the context of illegal Western sanctions against Russia.

Zakharova said the talks will focus on issues on the regional and international agenda: "First of all, the parties will discuss the current situation in Ukraine, as well as Syria, Libya, the Karabakh settlement, and the situation in the Balkans, Central Asia, and Afghanistan"
