The Swedish Defense Ministry will send an RBS-17 anti-ship missile system to Ukraine as part of the third aid package.

Swedish Defense Minister Peter Hultkvist said that the deployment of these systems was at the request of the Ukrainian side.
The RBS-17 is a Swedish version of the US anti-tank guided missile AGM-114 Hellfire and is designed to fire at sea targets.
The rocket has been produced since 1987.
The missile can fire up to 8 km using radar and laser guidance systems.
It has a high explosive fragmentation warhead and is used against ground targets.
