Georgia and Norway signed a document on joint training

The National Guard of the Georgian Defense Ministry and the Norwegian Internal Guard have signed a five-year cooperation plan, including joint exercises. The statement came from the Georgian Defense Ministry's press service, SIA reports.

It was noted that the purpose of the 5-year plan is to conduct command-staff training at the level of battalions, brigades and headquarters. The document envisages the development of a concept for the preparation of territorial reserve regiments.

The plan was signed by the commander of the Georgian National Guard, Brigadier General Roman Jokhadze, and the Deputy Commander of the Norwegian Internal Guard, General Maretn Egten.
