The UN Security Council will hold a meeting on Ukraine on June 6. This is stated in the work program of the Council for June, which was released on Wednesday. The specific topic of the meeting has not been announced yet.
According to TASS sources, representatives of the UN Secretariat are expected to report on the current situation, including in the humanitarian and food sectors. It is not planned to submit any specific proposals for consideration by the members of the Security Council.
According to the info obtained by SIA from russian websites, Albania will chair the UN Security Council on June 6.
Earlier, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that the solution to the global food crisis would not be possible without the return of Russian and Ukrainian agricultural products to world markets.
