Covid-19 infections are on the rise in Taiwan. As of April 28, 9,733 students passed the Covid-19 test, SIA reports quoting foreign media.
1,400 schools in the country have suspended education for a period of time, either completely or to cover certain subjects. The American College in the capital, Taipei, has begun distance learning.
According to the latest data, the number of infections in Taiwan has exceeded 100,000. Health Minister Chen Shih-chung told at a news conference today that 12,313 new Covid-19 cases had been discovered on the same day, and warned that the number of cases would accelerate in the coming days.
