Kazakhstan added Armenian journalist to list of undesirables

Tigran Keosayan will be banned from entering Kazakhstan for insulting and threatening speeches about Kazakhstan.

The statement came from Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Aybek Smadiyarov, SIA reports quoting AZERTAC.

"We pay attention to the insulting and inherently biased speech of Russian journalist Tigran Keosaya. "His statement may reflect the views of certain sections of the Russian public and political establishment, but in no way corresponds to the spirit and content of cooperation between our countries and the existing agreements at the level of heads of state," Smadiyarov said.

The Foreign Ministry believes that such speeches poison the atmosphere of good neighborly relations. "I believe that he will be included in the list of undesirable people to enter Kazakhstan," he said.

It should be noted that on April 24, T. Keosaya's negative comments about Kazakhs on his Youtube channel and calling them ungrateful caused great dissatisfaction.

Tigran Keosayan is the wife of Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of RT TV channel and Rossiya Segodnya international news agency.
