As many as 215 children have been killed in Ukraine as a result of military actions in the country, SİA informs, citing the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
Besides, 391 children have sustained injuries of various degrees.
The Prosecutor General's Office stressed that these figures are not final.
Children suffered the most in the regions of Donetsk - 124, Kyiv - 114, Kharkiv - 93, Chernihiv - 66, Kherson - 44, Mykolaiv - 43, Luhansk - 37, Zaporizhzhia - 27, Sumy - 17, Zhytomyr - 15, and the city of Kyiv - 16.
At the same time, 1,500 educational institutions were damaged due to daily bombardments and shelling of Ukrainian cities and villages by the Russian Armed Forces. More than a hundred of them have been completely destroyed.
