Russian facilities in the United States received bomb threats

Russia's Consulate General in the United States has received death threats in response to Russia's military operation in Ukraine. The statement came from Acting Consul General of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Slavkin, RIA Novosti reported.

SIA reports quoting Russia's Rambler website that the Consulate General allegedly receives threats via e-mail in both Russian and English. According to the site, this was also stated by Slavkin.

"… We were once told that a Molotov cocktail would be thrown. Last week, news came that a bomb had been planted. But none of this has been confirmed," the diplomat said.

"As far as we know, the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN has received a similar letter. It is also reported that bombs were placed on all Russian enterprises in the United States, " Slavkin said.
