Boat carrying migrants sank in Tunisia

As a result of the capsizing of four migrant boats trying to move to Italy off the coast of Tunisia, 12 people were killed and 10 are missing. As a result of the sinking of 120 boats carrying 120 African migrants and 4 refugees trying to cross the Mediterranean to Italy, 12 people died and 10 are missing, SIA reports quoting foreign media.

Tunisian Coast Guard spokesman Ali Aayari said 98 people had been rescued off the coast of the Tunisian city of Sfax.

It should be noted that more than 95,000 immigrants arrived in Italy in 2020 and more than 123,000 in 2021.
