Magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook the region

At 23:07 local time, a magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The quake affected Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania, SIA reports quoting foreign media.

The epicenter was reported in the historic city of Mostar. A 27-year-old woman was killed when a huge piece of rock fell on a house in the Kukavach district. Many people, most of them slightly injured in the quake, were hospitalized.

Local officials say there were no immediate reports of injuries or severe damage. Many earthquakes were registered after the 5.7 magnitude earthquake.

Fearing the earthquake, the people of Herzegovina spent the night on the streets.
