A bomb blast near a mosque in Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province has killed at least 33 people and injured 43 others. The blast has hit the mosque in the Imam Sahib district of Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province, SIA reports quoting foreign media.

As a result of the attack, 33 people were killed and 43 were injured. A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said on social media, "We are saddened to learn that an explosion took place at a mosque in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz at noon."

Children were among those injured in the attack. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
