The death toll from floods in South Africa's Kwazul-Natal province has risen to 448.

According to SIA, this was reported by the local INC TV channel.

It is noted that the bodies of 5 people were found during the day. Another 60 people are missing.

The President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, announced on April 18 that a national disaster regime had been imposed in the country. According to him, there is a humanitarian catastrophe in the country and many are in need of an ambulance.
