"The Chernobyl NPP in Ukraine has been under Russian occupation since the beginning of large-scale military operations, SİA informs, referring to the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
"The Russian army turned the territory of the NPP into a military base. Tons of rocket-propelled grenades were fired here. Therefore, the plant threatens nuclear security in Europe and the world. They held the NPP employees a hostage for about a month. Currently, there are no Russian servicemen there," the Ministry said.
