Security Council of Belarus: In case of aggression of Western countries, destruction will be on their territory
The army of Belarus is preparing to respond to a possible provocation from neighboring Western countries, State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich said on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel, SİA informs.
He stressed that in case of aggression against Minsk on their part, destruction and explosions will be on their territory.
“They are bringing their infrastructure in line with what is unclear, probably unleashing, preparing aggression. I think that ordinary people, Polish, Lithuanian, see what is happening today in Ukraine, what destruction, what a tragedy, how ordinary people are dying on the territory of Ukraine,” Volfovich noted. He expressed the hope that no one would want this and would not show aggression towards Belarus.
Nevertheless, the State Secretary of the Security Council noted that in neighboring countries the number of military equipment and weapons has increased, the military infrastructure is being modernized, military aviation flights near the Belarusian borders are becoming more frequent, and also that large funds are allocated from the budgets for the defense sector.
Volfovich added that Minsk wisely allocates funds for the development of its army, so that “if necessary, in the event of a provocation, be ready to give a worthy response.”
