Storm Megi death toll continues to rise

The death toll from Tropical Storm Megi in the Philippines has risen to 167.

Another 110 people are missing, SIA reports quoting RIA Novosti. In total, about two million people were affected by the disaster.

As a result of the hurricane, electricity supply was cut off in 76 cities in the Philippines.

More than 10,300 houses were damaged, of which 664 were completely destroyed.

Schools were closed in 192 cities of the country.
