North Macedonia has declared six Russian diplomats persona non grata

Northern Macedonia has declared six Russian diplomats "persona non grata". SIA refers to Russian websites.

A statement from the Northern Macedonian Foreign Ministry said that Russian Ambassador to Uskus Sergei Bazdniki had been summoned to the ministry and a diplomatic note had been issued declaring six diplomats "persona non grata."

The statement said that according to the relevant agencies, the men were involved in activities contrary to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

The ministry shared information that Russian diplomats left the country within 5 days.

Last month, Northern Macedonia declared five Russian diplomats "persona non grata" on the grounds that they were "acting contrary to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations."
