In August 2021, the Central Bank of Afghanistan lifted restrictions on the withdrawal of salaries from the bank accounts of individuals.
The statement came from the bank's spokesman Sabir Mohmand, SIA reports.
"The Central Bank has lifted existing restrictions on the salaries of government and non-government employees in accordance with the strategic plan for the restructuring of the banking and financial sectors," Mohmand said.
He added that this category of workers will be able to get their salaries back without any restrictions, and the banks will provide funds at their request and without delay.
