Tropical Storm Megi has caused severe damage in the Philippines.
SIA reports quoting APA that more than 30,000 families were evacuated due to the natural disaster. Two people were injured as a result of strong wind. There are no reports of casualties.
As a result of the hurricane, 60 houses were destroyed and about 200 floods were registered. Infrastructure facilities were damaged in the disaster zone, roads and bridges were damaged. Classes in schools have been postponed.
