Even relatives were not allowed to attend the funeral

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, who predicted exactly when Russian President Vladimir Putin would invade Ukraine, died of a coronavirus on April 5. Zhirinovsky, a 75-year-old Turkologist known as the most charismatic political figure in Russia after President Vladimir Putin, was diagnosed with the coronavirus but preferred to be treated at home, but was hospitalized when his condition worsened, SIA reports quoting foreign media.

The funeral of Zhirinovsky, a well-known figure in Russian politics, was held in Moscow yesterday. Russian President Vladimir Putin and former President Dmitry Medvedev also attended the funeral.

The Russian leader attended the funeral with security measures. One of the men in black suits standing next to Putin had a "nuclear bag" in his hand. It is alleged that when Putin came to the coffin and said goodbye to Zhirinovsky, the hall was completely empty, and even his relatives were not allowed inside.
