Cars with Russian and Belarusian license plates will not be allowed in the EU

EU countries have suspended the import of cars registered in Russia and Belarus. This was reported by the Federal Customs Service. SIA reports, referring to the Russian press.

"Currently, international vehicles with Russian and Belarusian registration plates will not be able to transport goods through the territory of the European Union," the Federal Customs Service said.

A day earlier, Brussels adopted the fifth package of sanctions against Russia. This includes a ban on road transport, including transit.

Analysts say that part of the latest package of sanctions is tougher. I must say that even Russian analysts admit this.

Thus, as mentioned, it will not be possible to export Russian coal to Europe through third countries. Other restrictions, on the other hand, have been relaxed: European ports will not be closed to Russian ships under foreign flags. (... at least the people won't starve ...)
