In continuation of a series of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the UK, on April 7, an event was held at the Azerbaijani Embassy in London with the participation of members of the Foreign Policy Council of the Conservative Party, SİA informs referring to the Azerbaijani Embassy in the UK.
The leadership and members of the Council took part in the event entitled “Azerbaijan-UK: celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and close cooperation.”
Ambassador Elin Suleymanov and Trade Envoy of the British Prime Minister for Azerbaijan, Baroness Emma Nicholson, spoke at the event.
Welcoming the guests, Suleymanov stressed the importance of cooperation between the embassy and the Council. He expressed his determination to further deepen the multifaceted and dynamic cooperation established between the two countries over the past 30 years. The diplomat expressed satisfaction with the existence of fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UK in the fields of international security, economy, trade, humanitarian activities and education, especially cooperation in the field of energy.
