US President Donald Trump has called reports that Washington will pay $300 million to Iran false.

"Iran has agreed not to have nuclear weapons. The information that the United States will pay Iran $300 million is a deliberate distortion of the facts," the US leader said.
He blamed Democrats for spreading this information.
