Pakistan highly appreciates Azerbaijan's role in hosting World Environment Day in 2026, SİA informs referring to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry's page on X.
"On World Environment Day, Pakistan reaffirms its commitment to climate resilience and sustainable development. As one of the countries most vulnerable to climate change, we continue to advance adaptation efforts and support global climate action. We commend Azerbaijan for hosting World Environment Day 2026 and fostering dialogue on one of humanity's most urgent challenges. Together, we must turn commitments into action for a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future," the ministry added.
Azerbaijan, through the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), will host World Environment Day on June 5, 2026.
