The United Nations office in Azerbaijan, along with the embassies of Slovakia, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Lithuania, have congratulated Azerbaijan on May 28 – Independence Day.
According to SİA, the messages were published on the official social media pages of the diplomatic missions.
The United Nations office in Azerbaijan said:
"On the occasion of May 28 – Independence Day, we congratulate the people of Azerbaijan!"
The Embassy of Slovakia in Baku wished Azerbaijan peace, prosperity, and continued success, emphasizing its sincere congratulations to the people of the country.
The Embassy of the Netherlands also extended congratulations:
"Happy Independence Day, Azerbaijan!
On the occasion of 28 May – Independence Day, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Azerbaijan extends its sincere congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan."
The Embassy of Belgium highlighted the Azerbaijani people"s commitment to preserving independence, national culture, and traditions, wishing continued peace and prosperity.
Lithuania also congratulated Azerbaijan, expressing hope for further development and stronger cooperation between the two countries, noting that it highly values friendly relations and partnership with Azerbaijan.
