Bucharest confirms its strong strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, Romania's Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Țoiu said in a post on X.
According to SİA, she highlighted that the green energy corridor and the Black Sea–Caspian Sea transport route represent a strategic contribution by Romania and Azerbaijan to expanding regional connectivity.
She extended congratulations to the government and people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day, wishing them continued prosperity.
The minister emphasized that Romania remains committed to deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan in all areas, especially energy and transport, and reaffirmed Bucharest"s dedication to strengthening bilateral strategic ties.
