Britain deployed fighter jets to Cyprus due to situation around Iran

The British government has sent additional fighter jets to Akrotiri Air Base in Cyprus in light of tensions surrounding Iran, SİA reports citing The Times.

According to her, six RAF F-35B fighters left Marham Air Force Base in eastern England on February 6 and were deployed to Cyprus in case of an escalation in the Middle East. Eurofighter Typhoons are also currently based at Akrotiri.
