Ukraine is ready to work within meaningful formats to achieve peace, and only US President Donald Trump has the power to end the war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on his Telegram channel, SİA reports.
“Since the beginning of this year, we have supported all decisive steps and leadership shown by President Trump in Ukraine, as well as every strong and fair proposal to end this war. And only President Trump and the United States of America ultimately have the power to stop the war,” Zelensky said.
According to him, during the meeting in Ankara, President Erdoğan proposed and supported various negotiation formats. Ukraine highly appreciates Türkiye’s readiness to provide a platform for talks.
“We are ready to work within any other meaningful formats that can produce results. But to stop bloodshed and achieve lasting peace, it is essential that we coordinate with all partners and that American leadership remains effective and strong, leading to a stable peace that ensures people’s security,” the President added.
