Vladanka Andreeva: Youth сan become a decisive force for global transformation
The United Nations remains committed to supporting youth everywhere, recognizing their potential to become a decisive force for global transformation, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva said during the Youth-Led Climate Forum as part of Baku Climate Action Week (BCAW2025).
"Young people, with their skills, creativity, determination, and vision, truly have the potential to become a driving force for global change. The United Nations worldwide, UN member states, my colleagues, and I here in Azerbaijan stand firmly by your side. We are committed to fostering youth leadership, amplifying the voices of young people in every possible way, and ensuring that they are equal partners in shaping solutions for a sustainable, green, and just future," Andreeva emphasized.
She added that climate change poses a serious challenge and requires a new approach and fresh perspectives, which the younger generation can provide.
