Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Benin Foreign Minister Olushegun Adjadi Bakari on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, SİA informs.
"Delighted to meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin Olushegun Adjadi Bakari on the margins of the UNGA80. We discussed multilateral collaboration within the UN, OIC, as well as regional and international security matters. We underscored the importance of high-level political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation, and fostering people-to-people exchanges, which are vital for building long-lasting relations between our countries. We signed the 'Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin,'" Bayramov wrote on X.
