According to the sources, the missile prompted alerts in multiple areas, particularly over the Negev desert, yet Israel’s air defense system neutralized the threat.
The launch came in retaliation for Israel’s recent strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen. Israeli media confirmed that no casualties or damage resulted from the attempted attack.
