U.S. President Donald Trump has for the first time addressed the recent incident involving a Russian drone entering Polish airspace, SİA reports.
The President shared his reaction on the social media platform Truth Social.
“What’s with Russia violating Poland’s airspace with drones? Here we go!” Trump wrote.
According to media reports, Trump may also call Polish President Karol Nawrocki regarding the incident.
Meanwhile, Matthew Whitaker, the U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, has affirmed Washington’s firm support for its allies, emphasizing that the United States is committed to defending every inch of NATO territory in response to the drone breach.
