Romanian Parliament rejects no-confidence motion against government

The Romanian parliament has rejected four proposals for a vote of no confidence against the government, SİA reports citing Agerpres.

According to the source, the initiative was put forward by three opposition parties.

Although the debates lasted for more than seven hours, none of the proposals managed to secure the required 233 votes. Deputies from the ruling party were present in the chamber but did not participate in the voting.
