COVID-19 cases have begun to increase again in France, SİA reports, citing the country’s Public Health Agency.
The agency reported that by the end of August, infections grew by 20 percent among children under the age of 15, while cases in the 15 to 74 age group rose by 12 percent.
Professor Antoine Flahault of the University of Geneva noted that similar trends are being recorded in other European countries as well as in the United States. He warned that the virus could spread more widely in the coming months.
