UN sends 25 teams to Afghanistan to help deal with earthquake aftermath

The UN has sent 25 teams to the region to assess the situation and eliminate the consequences of the earthquake in Afghanistan, SİA reports citing the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

"The United Nations has sent at least 25 teams to the region to assess the situation and is already providing support for disaster relief and delivering essential supplies to accessible areas," the statement said.
