Poland’s WB Group is preparing to present its new Lanca (Spear) cruise missile, SİA reports citing Militarnyi.
The official unveiling of the missile will take place soon at the MSPO 2025 international defense exhibition.
The Lanca missile features foldable wings and a solid-fuel booster, which allows it to gain altitude and speed before igniting its main turbojet engine. It is designed for launch from both land and sea platforms using containerized systems.
Observers noted a visible cut on the missile’s nose, suggesting the presence of a terminal guidance head or optical navigation system, enabling it to fly over terrain with precision.
Details on the missile’s warhead and operational range have not yet been disclosed.
