A number of agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the agreement between Azerbaijan and the US, have created a very positive picture for the region, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said in an interview with TGRT Haber, SİA informs.
He noted that the Azerbaijani side held consultations with the Turkish side regarding the meeting in Washington and the agreements.
The minister, noting that Türkiye's position on the Zangazur Corridor is based on mutual trust, emphasized close cooperation with Azerbaijan on this issue.
"There is nothing concrete on the Zangazur Corridor. The parties will discuss what will happen and how the situation will develop. Our position is based on trust. We trust our Azerbaijani brothers," Fidan noted.
He also highly appreciated the position of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on this issue.
