President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the initialing of the “Agreement on Peace and the Establishment of Interstate Relations” with Armenia, signed on August 8 in Washington.
According to SİA, citing the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, Mirziyoyev made the remarks on Friday in Turkmenistan during a trilateral high-level meeting with President Ilham Aliyev and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
“The parties discussed the development of multilateral cooperation in trade and economic relations, transport and communications, energy, and humanitarian spheres,” the statement noted.
