The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Dominican Republic, Ruslan Rzayev, presented his credentials to the President of the country, Luis Abinader, on August 20.
According to SİA, the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission confirmed the development.
During the meeting, Ambassador Rzayev conveyed greetings from the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to President Luis Abinader.
Expressing gratitude for the greetings of the Azerbaijani head of state, the Dominican leader, in turn, asked to convey his greetings to the President of Azerbaijan.
The meeting emphasized the broad opportunities for developing relations between the two countries in various fields, highlighted the importance of continuing cooperation within international organizations, and included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
