NATO Representative: Alliance to work closely with Azerbaijan and Armenia to advance regional security
NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Boris Ruge has reaffirmed the Alliance’s commitment to deepening cooperation with both Azerbaijan and Armenia in the interest of regional stability.
According to SİA, Ruge met with the permanent representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia to NATO, where they discussed the agreements reached between the two countries during the historic August 8 talks in Washington.
In a post on X, he said that on behalf of NATO he congratulated the ambassadors of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the historic meeting organized by the US government in Washington.
Ruge noted that NATO welcomes this progress and will continue to work closely with both Armenia and Azerbaijan to strengthen this partnership and advance regional security.
