During his traditional Sunday sermon, Pope Leo XIV expressed support for the signing of a peace declaration between Armenia and Azerbaijan, SİA reports.
"I congratulate Armenia and Azerbaijan on the signing of a joint declaration of peace. I hope that this will serve to establish lasting peace in the Caucasus," the pontiff said.
