21 Muslim countries issue joint statement condemning Israel's attack on Iran

The foreign ministers of 21 Muslim countries issued a joint statement condemning Israel's attack on Iran, SİA informs via Tasnim.

The parties expressed serious concern over the dangerous escalation of the situation.

The statement was signed by the foreign ministers of Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Somalia, Libya, Mauritania, Pakistan, Türkiye, Chad and Brunei.

The document noted that the escalation of tensions has serious consequences for the security and stability of the entire region and that this attack must be stopped immediately.

The authors of the statement stressed the importance of not targeting nuclear facilities under the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency in accordance with the Agency's and UN Security Council resolutions, and said that attacks on nuclear facilities are a clear violation of international law and humanitarian law.
