Israel attacked Iran with weapons allegedly received from the US, Spokesperson for Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baghaei said at a briefing on June 16, SİA informs referring to Iranian media.
He also stressed that the UN Security Council must fulfill its commitments in accordance with the Charter of the organization and condemn Israel's actions, it is necessary to take measures to stop the aggression against Iran.
At the same time, Baghaei stressed that statements justifying Israel's aggression and calling on Iran to show restraint are nothing more than hypocrisy and irresponsibility.
According to him, Israeli attacks against Iran are a violation of all norms of international law. Baghaei added that Iran will continue to resist Israeli attacks.
