The Iranian authorities should not engage in uranium enrichment, otherwise they will face consequences from the US, President Donald Trump told reporters aboard the presidential plane flying from Washington to New Jersey.
Commenting on Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's statement that his country should be able to enrich uranium, the US leader said:
"They won't be enriching [uranium]."
"If they enrich then we're going to have to do it the other way, and I don't really want to do it the other way. There is not going to be enrichment [of uranium in Iran]," Trump emphasized, not specifying what he was referring to.
