Speaker of Russia's Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko said that she is glad that political dialogue with Armenia resumed at the parliamentary level, SİA informs referring to Armenian media.
She was speaking at a meeting with Chairman of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan in Yerevan.
"We are glad to resume political dialogue at the speaker level after a certain period," Matviyenko said, addressing Simonyan.
Matviyenko emphasized that the Russian side is interested in developing and expanding multifaceted cooperation with Armenia.
