There is active migration dynamics between CIS states and Azerbaijan, said Vusal Huseynov, the head of the Azerbaijan State Migration Service (SMS), Report informs.
Speaking to journalists as part of the 29th meeting of the Council of Heads of Migration Authorities of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states, Huseynov noted that the topics discussed at this meeting will lead to easier movement of citizens of member states and promotion of legal migration.
"Today's meeting will discuss the action plan of the institution for 2025-2026, election of the new chairmanship of the council, approval of the new emblem, exchange of experience, and changes made to national migration legislation in the field of migration," the official noted.
