Prosecutor General: Ensuring Azerbaijan's sovereignty is manifestation of Ilham Aliyev's leadership skills
Ensuring the sovereignty of the Azerbaijani state is a manifestation of President Ilham Aliyev's leadership abilities, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said at a conference themed "Heydar Aliyev and Sovereign Azerbaijan" held in Khankandi, SİA informs.
"The fact that we are holding such an event today in the city of Khankandi, which was under occupation for decades, at the newly opened Karabakh University is the result of the political skill, decisive will of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and the courage of the Armed Forces," Aliyev said.
Aliyev emphasized that the development of independent Azerbaijan, founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the increase in its economic and military power, its recognition as a state with a leading position in the international community, an influential partner and voice in resolving regional and a number of global issues, and most importantly, ensuring the sovereignty of the Azerbaijani state, are manifestations of President Ilham Aliyev's leadership abilities:
"The historic victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War, which began with the counterattack of the Azerbaijani Army against the Armenian armed forces in 2020 under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, resulted in the liberation of our lands that had been under occupation for nearly 30 years and the full restoration of the territorial integrity of our state. In addition to the restoration of our national pride, the 44-day Patriotic War should be perceived as a message to the world that justice will be established sooner or later."
