A meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin may take place in the next few months, said Steven Wittkoff, the special representative of the US president, SİA reports.
"I am the representative of the US president, and during Donald Trump’s first term, he had a good relationship with Vladimir Putin. Therefore, I think that Vladimir Putin now understands that it would be difficult for the president to come to Russia. I believe they will meet in the next few months. But I think his acceptance of me is extremely sincere. I admit that," Wittkoff said.
