Turkey open to deploying peacekeepers in Ukraine — Bloomberg

The Turkish government is open to the idea of deploying peacekeeping forces in Ukraine after the conflict ends, Bloomberg news agency reported citing sources.

However, Turkey will not send peacekeepers there blindly, saying that it must be involved in all consultations and preparations regarding its formation, the sources said.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the matter with Vladimir Zelenskiy and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during separate meetings in Ankara earlier this month, said the people, who asked to remain anonymous.
