The restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty creates new opportunities for economic cooperation in a wider geography, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference on the results of the 2nd trilateral meeting among Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan held in Ankara, SİA reports.
According to him, namely through this region the construction of a new artery of the East-West Middle Corridor is being carried out, and this has great prospects.
The Minister also emphasized the importance of completing the peace agreement with Armenia. He added that the territorial claims and revanchist tendencies against Azerbaijan in the Constitution of Armenia and other normative legal acts are of concern: "The Republic of Azerbaijan will continue its constructive efforts in this direction."
Jeyhun Bayramov also noted that a number of projects will be implemented on the basis of the adopted Road Map in the field of transport between the three countries.
